The first phase of the IDEAL project, which concluded on 31 December 2025, received a positive evaluation, enabling the project to move into Phase 2, which will run until April 2027. This new phase will focus on a wide range of activities aimed at strengthening innovation and entrepreneurship in the creative industries. Planned initiatives include training opportunities for students, academic and non-academic staff, support for start-ups, and capacity-building actions for higher education institutions.

To launch this new stage, project partners met in Izmir, Türkiye, on 5–6 March 2026 for a workshop dedicated to reviewing the results achieved so far and planning the activities that will guide the project throughout Phase 2.
